S.C. CET GOVORA S.A. INTRODUCTION

CET Govora started running since 1959 and has developed on stages depending on The Industrial Platform and Rm Valcea town. Starting with 19.12.1997 the organization is registered in the Register of Commerce with the number J38/683 as a commercial society with an integral state capital, the only shareholder being Valcea town by Govern Resolution Nr: 1005/2002.
The activity profile of S.C. CET Govora S.A. is: production and trade of electric and thermal power; supply operations for: materials, equipment and spare parts, fuel, services; maintenance activities and repairs for own installations and
costumers as well; water-sewer services.

CET Govora , first independent producer of electric and thermal power, has maintained its tradition regarding the products offered for its customers. The continuity in delivery and the respect for spell variations of products index has achieved on some rules of good practice base, by respecting the legal rules and regulations. Using the activity profile and its tradition,

CET Govora , has established its position of unique producer of industrial steam in Rm. Valcea-Sud Industrial Platform, unique supplier for thermal agent for urban warmth in Rm. Valcea and permanent producer of electric power in the country. The economic results at the level of the year 2004 are pointed in the business number 2.352 bilion lei ROL, at a social capital of 186 bilion lei ROL.

One of the most important targets at 2002 level was to develop a Quality Management System based on SR EN ISO 9001/2001 and certificate it with an international level recognized organization. The top management decision to always satisfy the customer’s demands determined to invest in human resources high-standards training and implementing a recognizable system ISO 9001 / 2001.

The understanding of General Manager message was realized through unitary understanding of “quality” and terminology which all company employees start operating. Even more, the employees training in the Quality Management System is realizing by strategic management approach, developed since forth quarter of 2003.

All sacrifices and investments for customers start to yield fruits. The number for disconnection petitions from the apartments from the warmth system has remained the same with the number of working emigrants and has no connection with the customer’s low satisfaction for quality of the offered service. The finalization for the warmth and consumption water meter and the thermal agent at the associations in Rm. Valcea during November 2004, puts Rm. Valcea in the top of the first 2-3 big Romanian towns , which have solved this difficult problem. So it has accomplished one of the basic petitions from the concession contract between the town hall Rm. Valcea and CET Govora .

The quality of the offered services, but also the price of this thermal power offer, have increased the attraction of the thermal concept on the local market, so much, that during 2004, other commercial agents, public institutions became customers for CET Gomorra.

There were enough arguments so that in October 2004, the unique shareholder from CET Govora and Local Council from the city Baile Olanesti to request the undertake of the thermal, water and sewer services by CET Govora . So, it was undertook starting with January 2005, on concession for 25 years “Both urban thermal activity and the water-sewer in Baile Olanesti city”. Also, starting from august 2005, the thermal and water-sewer activities were taken over in concession for Calimanesti city for 25 years by CET Govora .

There are further plans for: Horezu and Voineasa.
